We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our growing team.
As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for providing a range of accounting services to our clients, including assisting in attestation engagements, write-up, financial statement preparation, and tax compliance. The ideal candidate will possess excellent critical thinking, analytical, and communication skills, and a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Support our attestation teams in performing various aspects of:
• Agreed Upon Procedure and
• Compilation engagements
• Support the tax team in preparing federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts
• Analyze financial data and assist in the preparation of reports for both internal and external use
• Assist in the design and evaluation of accounting policies and procedures
• Stay current with changes in accounting and audit standards, tax laws, and various regulations
• Maintain strict confidentiality of all financial and client information
• Collaborate with team members on special projects and engagements
• Perform ad hoc tasks and projects as required
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• CPA designation or pursuing CPA certification is preferred
• Internship or experience in public accounting or a related field
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, self-review, and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines while maintaining a high level of attention to detail
