We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Accountant to join our growing team.

Job Description:
The Senior Accountant will play a crucial role in providing exceptional attestation and tax services to our clients, including financial statement preparation, audit and review services, tax compliance, and tax consulting. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare and review GAAP or special framework financial statements and note disclosures.
• Obtain and apply a thorough understanding of US Generally Accepted Audit Standards, Consult with clients on tax-related matters and provide strategic tax planning recommendations.
• Assist with attestation engagements.
• Review and manage staff tax accountants’ work, providing guidance and mentorship.
• Stay current with changes in accounting standards, audit standards, tax, and other pertinent regulations, ensuring clients receive up-to-date tax advice.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, providing exceptional service and identifying opportunities for improving operational efficiencies and business growth.
• Collaborate with other team members on special projects and attestation engagements.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of the Firm’s attestation and tax practice, including implementing best practices and participating in training programs

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• Master’s degree in taxation or a related field is preferred
• CPA designation or equivalent certification is required
• Minimum of three years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on attestation services
• Basic understanding of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations
• Proficient in business applications, including the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and general ledger packages
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines while maintaining a high level of attention to detail
• Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
